Noise reduction in aircraft with smart lining panel
The ACASIAS partner DLR published an article on full-scale experiments of the smart lining panel for the active reduction of propeller-induced aircraft interior noise. A sound pressure level reduction up to 11 dB was achieved in the cabin of a DLR test aircraft. In the ACASIAS project these promising results will be verified for a smart lining with integrated actuators and sensors.
