Conference EMuS2020 the 17th and 18th November on-line

On November, 17-18, 2020, will take place the 2020 edition of the European Conference on Multifunctional Structures (EMuS 2020), that will be held online.

The European Conference on Multifunctional Structures will be an occasion to share the recent advances made on mechanical structures with multiple functions, including their manufacturing, among the scientific and the industrial community.

Multifunctional Structures conference will look into a wide range of large, light-weight integrated structures and structural systems, serving different purposes and with different manufacturing strategies: structures with embedded sensors that give them the capacity to react to an external stimulus, structures with embedded antennas, self-healing and self-monitoring structures, structures with improved fire performance, acoustic performance, or electromagnetical performance, and with different automated manufacturing and joining technologies and so on. The large amount of possibilities offered by multifunctional structures make them very valuable in all engineering fields, being of special relevance to the transport sector, in all its forms: automobiles, ships and yachts, aero-structures, etc.

Participants on EMuS will also have the opportunity to participate in ACASIAS Industrial Forum. The aim of the Forum is to present innovative multifunctional structures developed in the framework of ACASIAS research project, such as structures with integrated antennas and ASAC system.

This conference is as part of the EU H2020 ACASIAS project. EMuS 2020 is also supported by experts from the STUNNING team in the next generation Multifunctional Fuselage Demonstrator in Clean Sky 2.

The online registration are opened on the EMuS2020 website.
