ACASIAS project at the 8th EASN-CEAS International Workshop
ACASIAS participated to the 8th EASN-CEAS International Workshop on “Manufacturing for Growth & Innovation” in Glasgow (UK) from the 4th to the 7th September, 2018.
The ACASIAS members, NLR, DLR, CIMNE, VZLU and TRACKWISE, held 6 presentations. This event gave the opportunity to give an overview of the project and to present several ACASIAS research topics and progress:
- The smart SATCOM fuselage panel,
- The smart active acoustic lining panel,
- The homogenisation procedure for the structural design of the smart fuselage panels,
- The aerodynamic and strutural design of the winglet with integrated VHF antenna,
- The application of Flex circuits in ACASIAS innovations.
At the beginning, the audience was quite small but grew a lot until the endof the presentations, proving the public interest for the project.
