The ACASIAS project is aimed at developing advanced concepts for aero-structures with multifunctional capabilities. The proposed innovations include a composite stiffened ortho-grid fuselage panel for the integration of a Ku-band SATCOM antenna array; a lining panel with integrated Active Structural Acoustic Control system for reduction of CROR noise in the cabin; a smart winglet with integrated blade VHF (Very High Frequency) antenna; a Fibre Metal Laminate panel with integrated VHF communication slot antenna and integrated GPS patch antennas.
The ACASIAS Project had organised a Scientific Workshop, to be held within the programme the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP) in Copenhagen, on March 19th, 2020. The conference had to be cancelled due to COVID-19. We still want to share the results on ACASIAS related to antenna design. Therefore, we have decided to make the abstracts of the contributions available through the Project’s website.
The ACASIAS project team invites you to attend the scientific workshop about Antennas for integration into aircraft structures. This workshop will be held at EuCAP in Copenhagen on Thursday March 19, 2020 (8:30 - 12:20) . The complete programme can be uploaded directly in the EUCAP website.
